Welcome Back to America!

One of my older brothers, Daniel, and his family arrived in the States on Tuesday night. They have been living in Germany for the past few years and will now reside in the U.S. again.

I just wanted to take a moment to say "Welcome Back to America"! We love you and look forward to seeing you soon!

ESTHER MARIE

Esther Marie was born with the birth defect of cleft lip and palate. Her bi-lateral cleft lip was repaired while she was in China. Her palate is still open and needs to be closed soon so she can eat solid food properly and develop her speech. Therefore, we are raising money for Esther Marie's surgery to cover the expenses that our insurance will not. We will add to the surgery fund in whatever ways we can...car washes, yard sales, eBay sales, donations, etc. Many thanks to those who have already lovingly contributed!! June 20, 2008 We will head home with our 4th Miracle arriving in the evening! Would love to see you at the airport, We will be worn out but happy!
June 19, 2008 Leave Guangzhou, China and travel by train back to Hong Kong
June 18, 2008 Consulate Appointment (We get our Visa for Esther Marie so we can bring her home.)
June 11, 2008 Chinese Adoption Day (Photo Op!)
June 10, 2008 GOTCHA DAY FOR BEAUTIFUL ESTHER MARIE (Chinese Name: Guan Hai Mei)
June 9, 2008 Train Ride to Guangzhou, China and to our beautiful hotel where EVERYONE stays while in Guangzhou.
June 4, 2008 We Leave to Get Esther Marie (heading to Hong Kong) Jasper, Sarah and MaryAlyce traveling. Hannah and Joshua guard the homestead with Uncle Patrick.
May 28, 2008 Received Visas/Passports Back
May 15, 2008 Mailed Visa Applications to Chicago
April 22, 2008 Booked Airline Tickets/Hotel Rooms (love that charge card!)
April 16, 2008 We have our Consulate Appointment Date Which will be June 18 (U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou will give us permission to bring Esther Marie home.)
March 31, 2008 Travel Approval from China has arrived! (China gives us permission to go get Esther Marie.)
March 11, 2008 Met with Agency to Sign LOA
March 10, 2008 LOA Arrived from China (The CCAA tells us she is ours and we tell them we still want her.)
December 17, 2007 Log In Day (for Dossier in China)
December 5, 2007 DTC (Dossier Paperwork Sent to China along with Letter of Intent)
November 8, 2007 Told Agency this morning "WE WANT SWEET ESTHER MARIE"...that afternoon CIS Approval Arrived in the Mail!! (Our God is Awesome!)
October 30, 2007 CIS Fingerprinting Appointment (These are electronic fingerprinting.)
October 26, 2007 Call from Agency about Esther Marie!!
October 15, 2007 CIS Fingerprint Appointment Paperwork Arrived (They assign a date for you to come get fingerprinted.)
July 30 Mailed CIS Application (Immigration)
June 20, 2007 Fingerprinting Done at Local Police Station
June 5, 2007 Application for 4th Adoption to Lineline
