Update Information About Surgery on the 20th

Thanks for praying for us...our two precious angels will be having surgery the same day...next Wednesday, August 20th.

I spoke with the surgeon's assistant today to ask about the surgery time next Wednesday for Esther Marie. Initially we had been told the surgery would be at 1:00 so we would need to be at the hospital around 11:00 a.m. Plans change....

Now Esther Marie will be 1st or 2nd for surgery instead of last since she is no longer the oldest child having surgery. So Dana says we will be need to be at the hospital at 6:00 or 7:00 a.m....ugh! That will be interesting trying to juggle 4 kids that day. My cousin Amy is going to drive to Birmingham to hang out with us at the hospital so that will be a good thing. I will enjoy having her company and we can catch up since I haven't seen her since she met us at the airport on June 20th.

We will find out the exact surgery time and what time to be at the hospital on Tuesday.....the day before surgery. I just pray that Esther Marie won't have to wait too many hours without eating before the surgery. I feel anxious about all of it, so thanks for praying for Esther Marie and for us. And thanks for praying for her little friend, Lizzie, who is having her surgeries the same day. Ann and I are two anxious mothers and your prayers mean a lot to us!!!
