Emmie Gets The Gold!

We have a "first"....not an Olympic event, but Esther Marie gets the Gold in my book!

So what was the event??? Emmie went "potty" in the big toilet this morning after having a shower with me. WOW! I was SO proud of her and she was pretty proud of her little self...clapping with a BIG smile on her face. I don't know if she'll keep it up, but at least it's a start...a good start!

Just HAD to share this "first" on the blog.....and don't worry, I did NOT take a picture to post! (laugh) Although I wanted to. This was a totally spontaneous event anyway. I guess some time after the surgery, we'll start working toward earning a certificate like the Dora one shown here.
