Random Thoughts

It's Tuesday and I will be holding my next child in my arms in just one week!

Wondering if we should add Esther Marie's Chinese name to her legal name? What it really means will be an important factor.

The social worker told me someone wished they had brought a Chinese potty chair back with them to help transition their toddler. My brain is trying to figure out the puzzle of how THAT is going to fit into our luggage. I really will feel as if I am packing part of the plumbing!

Should I iron the spending money to make sure it is really crisp? I have heard some people sheepishly admit they have actually done this.

Hannah and Joshua both started summer camps today, and I was too busy and stressed to sit down to listen to every little detail. It grieved me.

New little jammies hanging on the drying rack made me realize two things: Esther Marie is tiny and I am going to have more laundry.

We own TOO MANY clothes and need to weed out tons of them to give to charity!

I have been symbolically "pregnant" since October (8 months) and now my little one is about to be "born." I wonder if anyone who hasn't adopted realizes this?

I am very emotional right now and tears keep flowing.

I thought about the Chapman family and their loss and prayed for them. It still makes me so sad to think about the whole situation.

God is in control, things are not going to be perfect, and stuff will be waiting at home when I get back sooooooo......let go and cross some things off my list.

Remember to pack some small chocolate bars to have as comfort food in China when things get tough.

You can't get deodorant in China.

Would you eat fried bee larvae? Chinese people do. They are like Mikey (the cereal commercial boy)...they will eat anything!
